OMG! FIFA Reveal New Rule At 2018 World Cup in Russia

World Football Governing Body, FIFA has revealed a new rule to determine the World Cup Group tiebreakers.

The rule is to decide the team who finishes on top or ahead between two teams which finish on the exact same level after the three matches in the group stages.

When two countries have the same points, no of goals scored, goal difference, fair play rating and head-to-head record also level.

If Spain and Portugal play 1-1 draws on Monday against Morocco, Iran and one more card for Fernando Hierro's team than their rivals would require FIFA draw lots to decide who comes out on top.

That draw would be held at 23:00 CET in the media room at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, if required.

The draws will take place immediately after both matches are played at either 19:00 CET or 23:00 CET depending on Kick-off Time.

Spain and Portugal are currently level on points and goals scored with (4) each and (3) goals conceded each ahead of their matches against Iran and Morocco respectively.
