World Cup 2018: Mohamed Salah Apologies After Egypt Get Eliminated

Egypt Star, Mohamed Salah has apologized to fans after they were eliminated from the 2018 World Cup without a point.


The Egyptians threw away a 1-0 lead on Monday to lose their final group Match 2-1 against Saudi Arabia.


The started the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Uruguay and then 3-1 to hosts Russia.


Salah, who went into the tournament despite his shower injury has apologized for the team's performance.


The Liverpool Star has now vowed to return to international football biggest stage in 2022.


“We want to apologise to all the Egyptian fans who came to support us here in the three matches, I know it is difficult for them, like us.


“I just want to say that Egypt reached the World Cup after 28 years, some players here do not have the required experience.


"Thanks to all of them and we will back again in 2022, ”he told reporters before boarding the team bus.
