Brazil Star Neymar Insists He Will Stay At PSG

Brazil Star Neymar has dismissed rumours linking him with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The forward has insisted he is committed to the French Club amid Real Madrid transfer links.

Indeed, reports in recent weeks claimed the Brazilian wants a return to Spain after leaving Barcelona last summer.

Talks of a move to Real have intensified since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club for Juventus and Los Blancos are in search of his replacement.

And Now Neymar has cleared all the rumours concerning his future stating "I will stay at PSG".

'I'll stay. I have a contract with PSG and I've chosen to be there for the challenge, for new things and higher goals,' Neymar told Fox Sports.

'I won't change my mind about it. I hope we can have a successful season, with new silverware, too.

'The press enjoys creating rumours, but everyone knows how much I care about PSG.'

Also, Neymar spoke on 19-year-old teammate Kylian Mbappe after his stunning performance for France at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“He’s a phenomenon, a great player. We knew that for a while, I am with him on a daily basis and know just how much quality he has. I’m very happy for him for the World Cup, for the title,” Neymar added.

“I believe he can also fight [to be one of the best players in the world] in the next few years. It’ll be nice to meet him again, we’ve been talking daily, even during the World Cup.”

In recent weeks, it has been speculated that PSG may be forced to sell either Mbappe or Neymar to deal with UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.

The French Champions came under scrutiny of FFP after their £360m recruitment for two players but initial investigations have been dropped by UEFA.

And club director Luis Fernandez insists they are under no pressure to sell.

'Neymar has decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain,' he told Radio Marca on Monday evening.

'He wants to succeed, after not achieving much at the World Cup. I think he wants to win titles with PSG.

'[FFP] does not worry me. The important thing is that both Neymar and Mbappe want to stay at PSG.'
