Huge! Eden Hazard Drops Chelsea Captain Hint (Photo)

Chelsea Star Eden Hazard has dropped a huge hint he could become the Club's next captain.

The Belgian has been a subject of speculations this summer after appearing to hint at a Stamford Bridge exit while at the World Cup.

Real Madrid were keen to sign the play-maker after Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus.

However, time is running out for the Spanish club to make a move with the European transfer window set to close August 31st.

And Chelsea fans are positive Hazard will stay after his cryptic twitter activity which all-but confirms he will remain at the club beyond this summer.

Hazard took to Twitter on Monday to remove his 'header' photo of himself in a Belgian kit, replacing it with a new picture showing him donning the captain's armband.

Blues fans were quick to spot the change to Hazard's profile and began to get excited.

One supporter tweeted: "Eden Hazard gives the biggest hint he might be signing new contract soon and will be the new official #CFC captain. On his Twitter header."

Another said: "Eden Hazard has changed his profile pic on Twitter to him in a CFC shirt, and his banner to a photo of him wearing the captain’s armband at Chelsea. Hmm..."

One wrote: "Captain Edennnnn! It's Happening - master-class against Arsenal."

And one excited Chelsea fan said:"Nobody knows how happy I am right now."

Hazard looks destined to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer after the arrival of new boss Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian also looks set to keep hold of Willian, who had been linked with moves to both Barcelona and Manchester United.

Asked about the captaincy situation prior to Chelsea's trip to Huddersfield, Sarri said:

'Tomorrow I think Cesar Azpilicueta, but it's not the final decision.

'I want to know well the players, I want to know well the man and then when my idea will be clear, I will make a final decision.'
