UCL: Harry Kane Defends Sergio Ramos' Tackle On Mohamed Salah

Harry Kane has dismissed claims Sergio Ramos deliberately tried to injure Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Despite the indicent happening back in May, Liverpool fans have refused to let go and still accuse Ramos of intentionally taking out their star player.

Salah and Ramos reunited again at the UEFA Awards ceremony in Monaco, where the Real Madrid defender reignited the discussion by squeezing his rival's shoulder.

Ahead of match between England and Spain on Saturday night at Wembley, Ramos had insisted he doesn't care if England fans boo him.

And Kane does not believe the Highly-rated defender crossed any line.

“I haven’t spoken to Jordan (Henderson) about him or the Champions League final(defeat), I don’t think he would want to talk about that too much, as I wouldn't,' said Kane.

“But Ramos is a competitive player. A great, great defender on and off the ball. We played against him last year against Madrid.

“He’s a tough centre-half. He wasn’t over the top, he didn’t do anything out of the ordinary.

“He tests the boundaries, but that’s what the referees are there for.”
