Manchester City Announce Record £500.5m Revenue In 2017-18 Financial Year (Details)

Premier League club Manchester City have announced record revenues worth £500.5m ($656m) in their annual report for the 2017-18 season.

The annual report for the 2017-18 financial year was released Thursday showing the Abu Dhabi-owned club made a profit of 10.4 million pounds.

City whose, 2016-17 annual revenue was £473.4m ($620.5m), have become the second club  to break the £500m barrier after Manchester United in 2016.

City are now only the fifth club in Europe to break the £500m barrier along with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and United, who are all set to release their annual figures this month.

"The 2017-18 season will go down in history because of the incredible football we all witnessed," City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said.

"Most of the developments visible today are the result of a carefully crafted strategy - one in which organic evolution has also been allowed to thrive."

"We are filled with an extraordinary sense of pride in the hard work of Pep Guardiola,the players, and the staff who work tirelessly to support them.

"Our aim is obviously to build on the achievements of the last year. We will always strive for more."
