England Vs Belgium: Striker Romelu Lukaku Ruled Out (Details)

Belgium will face England in their final Group match on Thursday without Striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Coach Roberto Martinez.

The winner of the match on Thursday will go top of Group G, with both teams winning their first two matches at the World Cup.

England narrowly won 2-1 with a last gamp winner against Tunisia before crashing Panama 6-1.

Belgium also defeated Panama before netting five against Tunisia.

Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has scored twice in both matches but will miss Thursday's highly anticipated encounter.

'He had a really difficult knock against Tunisia and probably Thursday is one day too early, but I don't think it is going to take any longer than that,' Belgium coach, Martinez said on Wednesday.

'We have very good news on the scan. There was no further damage, but it is still uncomfortable.

Martinez also expressed his love for England, and said:

'What I see is Gareth Southgate has brought all his success from U21 level and has developed an England culture.

'I think there is a clear structure, there has been a real tactical awareness, there has been a change of system to go into different qualifying games.

'They have found a system that suits a generation. There is a youth about them, an energy, a belief and a real desire,'.
