Jose Mourinho Sends Message To David De Gea After World Cup Woes

Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho has contacted Spain's David De Gea to help him with his World Cup Woes, according to reports.

De Gea has been far from his usual self compared to his performances in the Premier League.

He made a bad Blunder in Spain's 3-3 draw against Portugal, which allowed Ronaldo scored again in the first half.

Since then, his confidence levels have dropped.

According to Metro UK, Coach Fernando Hierro is set to drop De Gea from the Starting Line-up.

Hierro wants to replace De Gea with Atletico Bilbao's shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga following De Gea’s errors.

The Metro report Mourinho has contacted De Gea to give him support during one of the most testing periods of his International career.

A poll conducted by Spanish Outlet, AS showed that 50% of its over 40,000 fans wanted De Gea dropped for the Iran match.

Mourinho tried to encourage De Gea last week when he said: “He’s my boy. It hurts me to say but he knows, he knows, it’s a bad mistake.

“But that happens to the best, the good thing with the best is he will be there next match, not afraid.”

Spain face Russia next in the round of 16 on Sunday (3pm UK time).
