Man Utd Target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Speaks Out After World Cup Exit

Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has spoken out after his country [Serbia] were eliminated from the 2018 World Cup.

Milinkovic-Savic says he will be happy if he stays at Lazio but needs time to think about his future.

The Serbian has been liked with a move to Manchester United for months now.

Coach, Jose Mourinho is said to be keen to add the Midfielder to his options and potentially linking up with Serbia teammate Nemanja Matic at Old Trafford.

After Serbia's exit from the World Cup last night, the 23-year-old was asked about his future and said:

"I need a little bit of rest now,” he said.

“I’ll return to Rome and I would be happy if I stay at Lazio, as I'm content there andI have a contract.

"I read something different in the papers every day, but I haven't thought about it yet. First, I'll rest for a bit, then we'll see."

Milinkovic-Savic is under contract at Lazio until 2022 and is valued at £88m by the Serie A Club.
