World Cup 2018: Belgium Goalie Thibaut Courtois Fires Warning To England

Belgium Goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has sent a huge warning to England ahead of their clash at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Courtois insists Belgium have every motivation to beat England in their final group match.

The winner of the match between the two sides will determine who tops Group G and with both sides level on points, also goal difference - it would be a very tight one.

Belgium and England are both expected to rest players after already qualifying for the last 16 and will not risk players already on yellow cards.

Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois is expected to play and admitted for him it was a case of bragging rights, considering he will eventually return to his English club after the tournament.

'For me there is pride,' he said.

'I don't want to go back to England in July with a losing feeling. I want to win. I think everyone feels that way.

'Obviously we have qualified and maybe England will rest some players. We have some guys with a yellow card who don't want to be missing for the last 16.

'It will be different because it doesn't matter if we win or lose, because we are through, so in that way, it's less nerves maybe going into the game for everyone.

'But I would say it's about Prestige - everyone wants to win. They have a lot of guys we know and we have a lot of guys they know.

'People say it will depend on who we play in the next round , but in the group there are four teams that are really tough.

'So I don't think it matters if you finish second or first. But If you want to have that winning felling, its best to keep on winning.

Belgium and England are likely to face Japan, Senegal or Colombia from Group H in the round of 16.
