World Cup 2018: Nigeria 2-0 Iceland, Ahmed Musa Scores Twice (Video & Facts)

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated Iceland 2-0 in a very exciting match at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Nigerians started the match not showing any delight moving forward and Iceland dominated with shots and attempts in the first half.

But, in the 2nd half, The Nigerians came in the game with so much intent to attack you had no recognize them from the first half team.

Nigeria continued pressing and finally got a goal Courtesy of a beautiful volley by Ahmed Musa in the 49th minute.

Ahmed Musa bagged yet another goal after a fine run from the left flank to get past three players and the Goalkeeper and found the back of the net.

Iceland got a chance to make the scores 2-1 but failed to score from the penalty spot after a painful miss by.

Nigeria continued to keep the attack flowing and had many chances to score more goals but couldn't convert any more chances.

Nigeria now have three points ahead of their match against Argentina on June 26.
