World Cup 2018: Nigeria's Ahmed Musa Fires Warning To Lionel Messi

Nigeria's Ahmed Musa has fired a huge warning to Lionel Messi ahead of their clash on Tuesday.

Musa insists he is going to help Nigeria knock Argentina out of the World Cup by out-scoring him.

The Leicester City Star bagged two goals in Nigeria's recent 2-0 win against Iceland and his country now take on Argentina in the final Group D match.

The 25-year-old is no stranger to scoring in games of which Messi is involved in, scoring twice in a 2016 pre-season friendly against Barcelona and also scoring twice against Argentina back in 2014.

'Whenever I play against Argentina or whenever Messi is playing against me, i score,' Musa said.

'Four years ago I scored two goals. When I transferred to Leicester City and we played against Barcelona I scored another two goals, so I think in the next game anything can happen.

'Possibly, I'm going to score another two goals.'

Musa spent the 2016-17 season at Leicester where he scored four goals in 32 matches.

Last season he was on loan at CSKA Moscow where he scored seven times in 16 matches.

Nigeria Vs Argentina Match is set for tomorrow at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg.

If his side [Nigeria] survive in Group D, they will either face France, Australia or Denmark in the round of 16.
