World Cup 2018: Nigeria's Odion Ighalo Reacts To Death Threats

Super Eagles Striker, Odion Ighalo has reacted to the death threats he received after his failure to score against Argentina at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Ighalo, who replaced Kelechi Ihenacho in the second half of the match between Nigeria and Argentina in the ongoing World Cup in Russia, failed to score after a pass from Ahmed Musa which got many fans angry.

However, fans who believe Ighalo is at fault for the elimination of Nigeria from the tournament in Russia, stormed his social media page and threatened him.

Reacting on Instagram, Ighalo said that he regretted not scoring the crucial goal.

He said, “It is a great experience to play at the World Cup and I enjoyed every moment of it, but sometimes things don’t work the way you want.

“But life has to go on, I am grateful to God I did not sustain any injury.

”All those who want to kill me should remember, I am someone else’s child.”
