Arsenal Defender Ruled Out For 2 Months Due To Injury (Details)

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac has been ruled out for eight weeks after picking up a injury against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Kolasinac hopped off in the Second-half of Wednesdays clash which the Gunners won 6-5 on penalties.

After the match, Coach Unai Emery was unsure of his condition but Arsenal have now announced the left-back will be out for at least two months.

'Sead Kolasinac sustained an injury on his left knee. Will be out for 8-10 weeks,' a statement on Arsenal's official website read.

Also, Aaron Ramsey was due to start the match against Chelsea but pulled out before Kick-off after feeling his calf in the warm up.

And Arsenal have also confirmed he "developed tightness in his right calf".

'Aaron Ramsey developed tightness in his right calf. Continues to be assessed. Aiming to train next week,' the statement read.

Both Kolasinac and Ramsey will now miss Saturday's pre-season friendly against Lazio.

Arsenal begin their Premier League campaign against defending champions Manchester City on August 12.
